CIMS Users Gather in York to Share Their Knowledge

This year’s attendees were invited to join a field trip to the York Minster, a beautiful cathedral which houses historic objects, books and manuscripts, as well as beautiful stained glass windows, a magnificent organ and even two crypts.
The group photo shown was taken at the York Museum Gardens which some of our meeting guests visited. This free botanical garden houses a grand variety of plants and animals that our attendees enjoyed.
The 2025 CIMS Users Meeting was held in York, UK this year. The four day event was held in the historic Guildhall. A truly unique location, the Guildhall was built in the 1400s, but has been updated to host current events. The city of York has a grand history and includes remnants from the Roman, Viking and Medieval periods. There was much to explore during the attendees’ free time.
This year’s meeting was truly successful. We had the second-highest ever in-person attendance with lots of talks, tutorials, and updates. Most importantly, our users from all over the world shared their knowledge, including many remote talks and discussions. Thank you to everyone who participated!
The Aerodyne Team is looking forward to next year’s event which will be held at the Aerodyne home offices in Billerica, MA, USA next May. Boston is not as old as York, but it also has a grand history and there will be plenty to do for those who attend.
We hope to see you there!
