Aerodyne Research hosts new seminar series

Aerodyne is proud to announce our new seminar series: Forging Connections: Environmental Justice, to begin in April of this year. Four seminars will be hosted throughout the year at Aerodyne’s offices in Billerica, MA.

Air quality and climate change are of deep interest and importance to the work we do and the instruments we build at Aerodyne. The environmental justice movement aims to tackle inequalities in the exposure to environmental hazards like air toxics, which are often disproportionately affecting already marginalized communities. The goal of this seminar series is to strengthen connections with local scientists, artists, and grassroots organizations working at the intersection of the atmospheric sciences and community impacts.

We invite all interested attendees or New England-based speakers to contact us at seminars@aerodyne.com. We continue to seek speakers of all backgrounds and experience levels including scientists (academics, graduate students, postdocs) and community members (artists, activists, community-based organizations). A speaker honorarium is offered, along with reimbursement of ground travel expenses.
