From May 15th to the 18th, Aerodyne Research welcomed a group from UC Davis for training with Dr. Anita Avery. Qi Zhang and her students came to train on their Vocus PTR and AIM with a Figaero. Qi has been working with Aerodyne and the AMS since its early days and she’s very excited to use this gas phase instrumentation. She plans to use the AIM with iodide and acetone reagent ions, with a focus on studying the emissions from agriculture in the San Joaquin Valley in California.
