A low cost and accurate means of continuously monitoring exhaust gas concentrations of NO2.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Visible absorption measurement of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) using gas filter correlation techniques.

  • Stack gas monitoring of 1-3000 ppm concentrations of nitrogen dioxide.

  • Measurement of ambient concentrations in workplace environments.

  • Ambient air quality at concentrations of 25-1000 ppb using specially designed long path absorption cell.

  • Airborne and/or van-mounted measurements for wide area surveys.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Insensitive to presence of ambient smoke particles, dirt, soot and aerosols.

  • Suitable for use in corrosive environments.

  • Essentially interference-free.

  • Linear Response.

  • Minimal maintenance (no scheduled maintenance).

  • Fiber-Optical coupling allows for remote placement of electronics/detector module

  • Low voltage operation (12-28 VDC) version available

STATUS: Technology under development

Estimated Sensitivity:  500 ppb
